ToolCheckHow ToolCheck works
Open a tool product page at a supported store. Near the product title, click “Is this a good deal?”
ToolCheck then shows:
- The current price
- How that price compares with other stores in the same country
- A plain rating: Good deal, Fair, or There are better options
- Links to the other listings so you can choose
Same country only
Canadian pages show Canadian stores in CAD. U.S. pages show U.S. stores in USD. A Canadian shopper does not see Amazon.com prices, and a U.S. shopper does not see Amazon.ca prices.
Same model vs similar
Same model means the model numbers match and the brands match. Similar means it is the same kind of tool, but not confirmed as the same model. Similar is shown in italics.
There is an “Exact item only” toggle. When it is on, Similar and Search rows are hidden.
What we do not do
- No forced pop-ups
- No countdown timers
- No “only 2 left” pressure
- No auto-redirect to a store
