Used and refurbished tools
Tools have a real used and refurbished market. A used listing can be a better value than a new one, but only if it is the same model and you are comfortable with the condition.
ToolCheck can show eBay listings next to new-store prices when the model matches. Read the listing yourself. A “tool only” listing is not the same as a kit with a battery and charger. A part that “fits” a tool is not the tool.
When you compare used and new:
- Confirm the model number, not just the brand.
- Check whether the battery, charger, and case are included.
- Check the seller’s return terms.
- Treat a much lower price with no model match as a different item.
We may earn a commission if you buy through an eBay or store link. That does not change the rating.
