Is this tool a good deal?
A tool price is a good deal only when you can compare it with other real options for the same item, or a close substitute, in the same country.
Start with three questions:
- Is this the same model as the cheaper listing, or only a similar tool?
- Is the cheaper price from the same country, in the same currency?
- Is the listing a complete tool, or a part, battery, or kit that is not the same thing?
ToolCheck is built around those checks. On a product page, click “Is this a good deal?” and read the other-store rows. The lowest saved price is marked in green. The highest is marked in red. Store names next to the prices are the links.
Do not treat a first look as a history. If ToolCheck has never seen the item, it says so. A single sighting is not a sale price.
